Subject: QTVR light goes on in 4 easy steps
I ve found a solution that works well without using expensive software: or to many little pieces of software.
1. I created and rendered a 2000 by 1000 spherical camera images with carrara. The spherical camera must look at the horizon. Set your view to the spherical camera and do quick renders until the horizon is a straight line. Then do your final render and save the JPG image with good quality.
2. Then download Pano2qtvr (1.8MB) from www.pano2qtvr.com. The free version already does the trick. If you whish to use it commercialy you can register for ?30.00.
3. Then drag your carrara image/jpg onto the Pano2qtvr droplet icon. Choose the MOV file name and you are done.
4. Download Quicktime if you don t have it.
I ve uploaded my playfiles to : http://www.tigme.net/qtvr
Dont mess with the spherical camera in the .car file or then again mess with it to see what happens to your horizon
Regards.
ps. And thanks for all the help I hope this helps some others here.
