Description
HtmlHelpTool for PHP is a PHP class toolkit for reformating content tables of Help Workshop help projects.
Help content table files (*.hhc) can be opened in web browsers because their format is based on HTML. But it is difficult to keep these files continuous compatible with the help workshop compiler to build *.chm files and display them in a webbrowser without ActiveX requirements.
The HtmlHelpTool for PHP class takes the *.hhp and *.hhc files as they are and parses their contents so that it can be easily transformed into a webserver friendly format. This way you can publish a help file project as *.chm and on the internet using the same project sources. You just have to copy the help workshop project onto the webserver (with HtmlHelpTool for PHP infrastructure) to publish it in a useful way.
